Shirin Nab Bakhtar was established in 2002 in the city of Urmia, West Azerbaijan Province, in an area of 42,000 square meters and 30,000 square meters of covered halls. It started its activity by producing Petit Beurre biscuits. Currently, with the development of this factory, in addition to producing Petit Beurre, it produces a variety of plain, sesame, raisin, chocolate and double-filled ball cakes, along with a variety of cream-filled biscuits, Choco Marshmallows, Animal World, children’s biscuits, pretzels, crackers, biscuits, chocolate, chocolate-covered caramel (Caramelin), Choco Bar, Hi Hi and layer cake under the trade names Asalak, Mahak, efo and Asal Tala. In the future, new products such as various wafers will be added to the company’s colorful product portfolio. In addition to capillary and arterial distribution in Iran, the company’s products are exported to neighboring countries in the Persian Gulf region, Central Asia and South and Southeast Asia, and it is hoped that by improving the quality, it will expand to new markets all over the world. In addition to creating variety and innovation in its products, this complex, by utilizing up-to-date technology in addition to improving quality and producing a distinct product in the world and capable, hardworking and specialized personnel, has taken effective steps in respecting consumer rights and fulfilling their wishes and has raised the level of customer expectations and dictated them to similar companies. In this production unit, about 250 people were employed in the year of commencement of work, which in 2007 exceeded 700 people and will increase in the future with the development of the company, which is an important step in creating employment in the province.
